Noble Paint and Varnish Company Pvt. Ltd. was established in Bombay in Pre-independence India in the year 1934 by the Late Mr. Jal Jamshedji. It was the first Indian paint manufacturer and the nation’s oldest. Since then, the name has changed to Noble Paints Pvt. Ltd. and it has remained a family owned business.

Now in its 71^st year, Noble has not forgotten the principles upon which it was built – To serve the Nation, its people and innovate.

Noble Paints is the recipient of three Warrants of Appointment by Presidents of India for supplies to the Armed Forces.

Noble supplies to various public and private sector undertakings including some of India’s leading companies, numerous government departments, the Armed Forces as well as paints for domestic and industrial use.

Never willing to rest on its laurels, Noble continues to innovate. Noble was the first company in the country to develop fire-retardant coatings for defence applications and currently specializes in fire-retardant coatings for domestic as well as commercial/industrial use while at the same time manufacturing a gamut of decorative and industrial finishes.
